Sustainable, mono-material packaging strips a pack back to a single recyclable substrate — all-paper, or one polymer — because a carton laminated from three materials is, in practice, landfill. Design from the waste stream backwards: pick one material your buyer can actually recycle, then work within it — folds and structure instead of glue and lamination, unbleached or recycled stock, soy or water-based inks.
